The 912 was produced between 1965-1969 followed by a short return in 1976 to bridge the gap between the outgoing 914 and incoming 924. The 912 was essentially a 911 except with a 4-cylinder engine. The original 912 generated 90 HP and managed 0-62 mph in 11.6 secs.
